Leysin is located at 1200 m above Aigle on a sunny terrace on the Rhone Valley. It is characterized by a breathtaking view on the valley, Mount Blanc, Dents du Midi and Les Diablerets.

This wonderful village is famous for its beautiful view on the mountains surrounding it.

This small destination has opportunities for all types of tourists and is ready to host them in every season. Families with children under 9 years old, who decide to spend a few days a Leysin, have special prices on skipass and hotels.

At the bottom of the Tour d’Aï, from the 1950s Leysin has become a holiday destination open all year around, since when, in 1950, Club Med opened a holiday village.

You can reach Leysin from Aigle, at the end of a 35 minutes ride by rack railway, or by car from Le Sepey.

During the winter season skiers and snowboarders can enjoy their favorite sport in a ski area that has 17 skilifts and a snowpark, or they can hike with skis or snow rackets.

You can also find a ski school, the Tobogganing Park. The close villages of Les Mosses and La Lécherette have a ski area perfect for families, with a large area for cross country skiing.

In addition to your favorite sport, here you can also try the Snowtube Park, one of the biggest ones of Europe, or attend the Nescafè Champs Open snowboard race or the sledging dogs international race. For those of you who love good food, you can visit the revolving restaurant “Le Kuklos”, located at the top of the Berneuse at 2048 m.

If you think that the real attractions are just for the winter season, you are wrong. Over summer, in fact local museum and the cheese factory “La Fromagerie” will give you important information on the mountain economic tradition. 250km of trails, mountain tours and bike trails give you the opportunity to enjoy open air exercise.

Various climbing sites and two via ferratas are waiting all climbing lovers.

As you can see you cannot get bored around here: adults and children are welcome all year!
